Recent Rotary Programs:
Southeast Community Center Rotary Playground
On August 1st, 2011 the Southeast Community Center Rotary
Playground was dedicated in Pierre, SD. Rotarians were met
with the beaming smiles and twinkling eyes of neighborhood
children using the playground equipment. The construction of
this neighborhood playground culminated a Rotary project
which began in October, 2010.

Our first monthly MONSTER MONDAY
The Pierre-Fort Pierre Rotary
Board of Directors is proud of all the good work our members
do for our communities. Monster Mondays are a time when we
pause to celebrate all that is being accomplished and to
thank our members for giving their time and energy.
I want to again thank all the
Rotarians who are actively involved in some aspect of Rotary
service. I look forward to seeing you at our next Monster
Monday as well as our regular Monday noon meetings.

Attorney General Marty Jackley,
introduced by Paul Bachand, spoke to Rotary August 23rd
about the South Dakota’s Impaired Driving Program.
The Rotary host was John Rohlf.
The Attorney General also answered questions about the
interest South Dakota had in the Arizona Immigration law.
